Line wire - mild steel

  • Fully galvanised top quality line wire, the mild steel is perfect for the amateur fencer being easier to handle than the high tensile. Rolls are approx 25kg in weight but length varies with diameter

  • Fully galvanised top quality line wire, the high tensile is best suited to the professional fencer as it needs to be perfectly taut. This requires some specialist knowledge and / or tools. Rolls vary in length according to the diameter of the wire

 

Mild steel barbed wire

  • Mild steel barbed wire is a robust wire with substantial barbs which is useful for fences where there is heavy stock pressure. Rolls are a uniform 200m as standard

 

High tensile barbed wire

  • Heavy duty High Tensile Galvanised is barbed wire perfect for substantial cattle pressure on High Tensile fences, the 4pt 2 line barbed wire is a lighter wire for fences which do not face the same challenges. Please note high tensile is harder to strain than mild steel.

 

Wire codes explained, example HT8/80/15
HT - type of net eg High Tensile, 8 - number of horizontal line wires (please note unevenly spaced, smaller gaps at bottom), 80 - overall height of net in cm, 15 - width of each box in cm.
L - light, C- standard mild steel, B- heavy grade mild steel

Delivery to Argyll

Your quote will include a delivery charge unless we know that you will be collecting.

If you prefer to collect please let us know either in the "delivery instructions" box at the website checkout or by email later. Email sales.aftltd@gmail.com. If you wish to collect then this can be arranged at pre-arranged times and we will respond with a note of suitable time slots or you can request a specific slot in advance.

Deliveries are kerbside and one-man unless otherwise specified. Please let us know of any access restrictions to your delivery site. We always appreciate detailed instructions on how to find you either in the delivery instructions box at checkout or by email, thank you.
